Mortgage Rates are projected to go up. The latest employment report showed hourly earnings were up 2.9% over last year, the highest since 2009. This coupled with manufacturers expecting increasing costs indicates inflation is coming. This worry will be putting upward pressure on mortgage rates, we are up almost half a percent and some predict another .5% by summer.
