Things to Know for The Summer
Something unique to do while you are here socially distancing. The Breckenridge Film Festival is sponsoring Drive-in movie Fridays and Saturday this summer. Taking place at the CMC parking lot they have a great lineup including The Blues Brothers, Jurassic Park and The Princess Bride among others. Come enjoy some nostalgia and popcorn. Free with a suggested donation of $20/car. Reservations at; BreckCreate.org
Things to do outdoors here while socially distancing;
*Hiking and Mountain Biking trails everywhere
*Dining on Main Street Breckenridge or Frisco (literally in the street)
*The paved bike paths throughout the county
*On Lake Dillon with a SUP, Kayak, Sailboat, etc.
*The beaches on Lake Dillon are superb
*The Breckenridge Gondola is free to ride up to the base of peak 8. Hiking, biking and dining are available at the top as well as the Adventure Park
**Something to keep an eye on; Breckenridge has been debating whether to keep Main St. a walkable mall permanently. There’s a lot of mixed reactions but the debate is far from over. You can send your comments to the town or publicly at Summit Daily News.
I hope you're safe and healthy and planning on coming to see us this summer!
