December 5th Lighting of Breckenridge; More than 13,000 feet and 250,000 LED holiday lights will transform historic downtown Breckenridge into a sparkling snow globe scene. Come out dressed as Santa, a reindeer or an elf. Rock an ugly holiday sweater, or show off your Hanukkah gear. Even Grinchs are welcome. The Blue River Recreation Path will be transformed into a winter wonderland of holiday splendor featuring beautifully decorated trees, each with their own theme and style. Finally enjoy the Handmade Holiday Market in the Riverwalk Center on Saturday, December 5th from 12pm-8pm and Sunday, December 6th, 9am-2pm.
Ten Days of ULLR December 9 – 19; For over 57 years, the community of Breckenridge has strapped on Viking helmets and paid tribute to Ullr, the Norse God of Snow, in hopes of being rewarded handsomely with an abundance of snowfall. This year, the iconic ULLR parade floats will have stationary locations throughout town to support Breckenridge’s social distancing efforts. Dec 9 Breck's got talent at the Riverwalk.
